Senior Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Accountant assumes a leadership role to guide finance associates on the execution of their respective functions. The senior accountant also supports the site controller on tasks that require further analysis, various schedules, month-end closing, inventory, audits and statutory requirements and compliances.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exercises transactional oversight related to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash flow, fixed assets, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.
Steps in the jobs of the finance associate, if warranted.
Assists the site controller in the completion of audit, tax and other statutory requirements.
Participates in planning for policies, forecasts, APP, procedures, systems, problem-solving, and performance monitoring by serving on committees, task forces, and project teams.
Performs other duties related to and implied by the responsibilities listed above.
