Senior Accountant

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our accounting operations and payroll. You will ensure the reliability of financial information, compliance with internal controls, and actively collaborate in the preparation of periodic financial statements. You will also provide guidance to junior members of the accounting team. You will gain a complete understanding of the company’s accounting cycle through this role.

As a Senior Accountant at Spiria, you will be required to:

Perform the full accounting cycle: journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable, fixed assets, payroll;

Prepare month-end journal entries;

Ensure the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and review of ledgers;

Validate payroll through ADP and review payroll remittances;

Process vendor payments;

Analyze variances;

Participate in the preparation of the annual audit file;
