Senior Accountant

Tropical Heat is East Africa's number one snack food & spice company, operating in a high-volume FMCG environment across multiple countries. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant who will help drive & manage day-to-day finance operations and also partner closely with our Commercial and Sales teams - strengthening working capital, improving discipline and supporting sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business units
Manage monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
Lead reconciliations - bank, debtors, creditors, inventory and inter-company
Strengthen working capital control - debtors, creditors and stock
Oversee statutory compliance - VAT, PAYE, corporate tax coordination
Support audit processes - internal and external
Maintain strong cost accounting discipline within manufacturing
Improve finance processes, controls and documentation
