Senior Accountant

Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible in performing and overseeing general accounting activities with a specialized focus on lease accounting under US GAAP, including ASC 842 compliance. This role supports accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for general ledger and lease-related accounts.
• Maintains and reconciles lease schedules in compliance with ASC 842, including new leases, modifications, and terminations.
• Supports month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Analyzes variances and prepares explanations for fluctuations in financial statements.
• Supports internal and external audit requests related to general accounting and lease accounting.
