Senior Accountant, Prairie Region

Position Summary

The successful incumbent in this role will join a small team that provides financial services, analysis and support to our5 locations in the Prairies, reporting to the Controller, Prairie Region. This role ensures all financial activities align with company goals and objectives while supporting the alignment and integration of business processes and financial operations within our Salit Group of Companies to enhance efficiency and consistency. A strong attention to detail and accuracy is required to be successful in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, inventory and general ledger activities across multiple legal entities.
• Perform and review various day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations for Canadian and US accounts.
