Senior Accountant

Description

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the finance function through accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and continuous process improvement. The role is responsible for managing capital expenditure accounting, maintaining inventory accuracy, developing and managing the fixed asset register, and providing mentorship and training to junior accounting staff.

In addition to technical expertise, the Senior Accountant is expected to demonstrate professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to build effective working relationships across teams.
