Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We have a full‑time permanent opportunity for a Senior Accountant in the Finance Department. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurate accounting, analysis, and reporting of complex revenue streams and related estimates for the Vancouver Airport Authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing oversight of junior accounting resources, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and offering advisory guidance to internal stakeholders on revenue‑related accounting matters.
• Apply and interpret the applicable GAAP standard related to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, contract accounting, and leases.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue estimates and accruals, including judgmental and complex estimates.
