Job Description
Join Babcock as a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Winnipeg, where your expertise will enhance aircraft safety and reliability for our defense operations.
In this pivotal role, you will maintain and repair CL215/CL415 Water Bomber Aircraft and Commander 690’s. Your technical skills will be utilized to diagnose and modify aircraft systems effectively while mentoring apprentices. You must keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and comply with Transport Canada guidelines to maintain the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose aircraft systems and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct maintenance using advanced tools and diagnostic systems
• Mentor and guide AME apprentices throughout their training
• Comply with safety regulations and best work practices
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces for productivity
Requirements:
• M1 and/or M2 AME license is essential
• Experience with relevant aircraft systems is an asset
