Senior Aircraft Structures Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design: Collaborate on aerospace component designs.
• Design Changes: Update designs per customer feedback and standards.
• 2D to 3D Conversion: Convert 2D drawings to 3D CAD models in CATIA V5.
• Drawing Creation: Create engineering drawings from CAD models.
• Legacy Mylar to CAD: Digitize Mylar drawings into CAD.
• Document Management: Ensure version control and compliance with aerospace standards.
• Project Execution: Assist in project execution with updates and metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with the team and seek mentorship.
• Design Automation: Use tools to improve efficiency.
• Performance Metrics: Track metrics to ensure project success.
• Problem-Solving: Address issues and implement changes.
