Senior Associate, Institutional Equity Research (Metals & Mining)

What You’ll Be Doing

The Capital Markets arm of CIBC provides corporate, government and institutional clients with innovative solutions to help them raise capital and grow and invest actively throughout North America and other key financial centres around the world.

As a Senior Research Associate, you will work closely with Research Analysts covering the Metals & Mining sector. The role involves researching companies and industries, writing reports, developing and maintaining financial models and databases, and assisting in writing thematic reports for the sector.

The compensation for this role includes an expected annualized base salary of $125,000, participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program, and additional benefits such as banking benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, an employee share purchase plan, vacation, wellbeing support and MomentMakers social recognition.
