Senior audit manager - urgently needed

A vacancy exists in a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for a Senior Audit Manager to commence duties as soon as possible in our Pietermaritzburg office.

Main Responsibilities Planning of audits Execution of audits Detailed review of financial statements/working papers and reports prepared by junior staff Liaising with client and tax department for tax matters concerning clients Involvement in staff planning and allocation of work Monitoring of work in progress of staff Follow up on invoices to clients and ensure fees are recovered timeously Preparation of budgets for clients prior to commencement of audit Conduct progress meeting with staff Attend to client requests and queries and attend meetings with clients to enhance service delivery Staff mentoring and coaching Required to be an assessor with SAICA for review of trainee’s assessments To provide a management role within the Audit, Accounting and Tax Department nationally Business Development M...
