Senior Backend Developer (Node.js & TypeScript)

Our client is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of backend API development in a high-performance, cloud-native environment. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimise scalable APIs using Node.js (TypeScript), with PostgreSQL as the primary datastore and Redis supporting caching, queuing, and performance optimisation.
 
You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable backend services with excellent performance and observability.

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience


• Strong proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript


• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimisation, transactions)
