Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/x) - Single Sign-On (SSO) Services Engineering

Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Single Sign‑On Services Engineering team in Frankfurt or Berlin. This role combines strong backend engineering expertise with advanced production support and domain ownership.

You will work on highly scalable, security‑critical backend services supporting enterprise authentication and federated identity platforms. In addition to hands‑on development and deep debugging, you will act as a senior technical escalation point and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for critical components of the SSO ecosystem.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong backend development skills, excellent troubleshooting capability, and a proactive mindset to improve system reliability, resilience, and operational excellence.
