Senior Bookkeeper

 Cape Town – V&A Waterfront

Key Responsibilities

• Capture all supplier invoices into the 
  Oracle MICROS hospitality POS system
• Capture daily sales into monthly sales journals and update daily sales comparison reports, distributed daily
• Finalise weekly payroll, prepare reports, and load payments, including sommelier commission payments
• Load all supplier and R&M payments for processing
• Capture stock takes on 
  Oracle MICROS
   at mid-month (15th) and month-end, and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
• Audit petty cash and other monies as requested by the Senior Accountant
• Submit all cash-up, petty cash, and sales journal Excel reports to the Senior Accountant by mid-month (first half) and month-end
• Submit all monthly payroll and wage reports to the Senior Accountant after finalising month-end payroll
