Senior Bookkeeper (Xero)

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Bookkeeper (Xero) to support a UK-based accounting firm by managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of client accounts.

This role involves working across multiple client entities, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring each client's accounts are fully up to date and ready for accountant review.

This is a client-facing accounting practice environment requiring strong technical capability, independence, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple client entities simultaneously
• Maintain and manage client accounts within Xero
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Post, allocate, and categorise financial transactions accurately
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure account accuracy
