Senior Buyer

SSA Group are seeking a Senior Buyer on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering Contractor in West Dublin. You will be responsible for the purchasing/buying processes, negotiation of prices and delivery of products. €65,000 - €75,000 per annum + package. Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company objectives. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions. Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material needs and ensure timely procurement.
