Senior Buyer

Sewell Wallis is working with an ambitious, well-reputed South Yorkshire manufacturer based in Sheffield, who are now looking for a senior buyer to join their team.

The role offers full responsibility for managing outsourced production processes and will lead the end-to-end Procurement cycle, including supplier prequalification, onboarding, tendering & award through to continued contract, compliance and Supplier relationship management.

What will you be doing?

Contract management - Direct responsibility for the management of subcontract commercials. Responsibility for supplier conformance to contract and managing KPI's.
Supplier Relationship Management - Build and develop supplier relationships to minimise supply chain risk and drive value added through performance.
Implementing improved processes, driving conformance, instilling a best in class mindset for procurement practice & policy.
