Summary This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Asset Marketing and Management, Capital Markets Operations and Sales of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The incumbent will provide support in the areas of identifying, analyzing, pricing, managing and liquidating complex capital market instruments, as well as in structuring and monitoring securitization transactions. Responsibilities Identifies, manages, prices, and analyzes complex capital market instruments prior to bank failure. Analyzes call report data, other publicly available information, and confidential bank examination reports to identify the types of capital market instruments owned by the institution, and to develop preliminary resolution strategies. Gathers legal and financial documents from failed bank records or from third-party public and non-public sources required for the analysis, valuation, management, and liquidation of any assets retained in a receivership.
