Senior Certification Engineer (Intrinsic Safety)

Responsibilities:

As a well-established business, with a wide-ranging scope, the exact role requirements can be determined partly to suit the candidate’s own experience, interests and capabilities. We see this as an opportunity to develop with the business and potential for the candidate's role to evolve over time as the business grows. The initial focus will be to become part of the Intrinsic Safety team and evaluate products against EN/IEC 60079-11.

The expectation is that the role would involve responsibility for:

· Assessment of products designed to national, regional and international standards.

· Preparation of technical reports, technical files and certificates

· Preparation of quotations

· Technical advice meetings with clients

Senior roles may include responsibility for the technical review of draft reports and mentoring trainee certification engineers.
