Senior CG FX Artist

Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. 

Must be onsite in our Alexandria studio, 5 days/week. No remote or hybrid available for this role.

The Senior CG FX Artist participates in the creation of the film's various FX under the direction of the CG FX Supervisor and the CG Supervisor. The artist relies on both strong technical skills and a developed aesthetic sense to produce high quality FX, true to the style of the film. The artist will be responsible for the creation of setups and the propagation of simulations such as fire, smoke, water, particles etc. in the shots.
