Senior claims handler

Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 – 16h30Alternate Saturdays from 09h00 – 12h30
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this position is to ensure that claims are processed in terms of the policies and procedures of the Company and that payments to attorneys are duly authorised and effected in accordance with standards established by the Company and the Scorpion Legal Protection Policy Document.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Application of Legal Principles Assessing merits on matters and applying legal principles in line with policy Drafting & attending to Correspondence Attending to drafting and responding to correspondence on behalf of clients Reporting and Quality Assurance Daily & weekly file audits and quality assurance of claims work in branch Liaison with Attorneys and Clients Attend to obtaining advice and instructions, authorising claims Liaison with Clients and Staff Dealing with and mi...
