Job Description
Payroll
Prepare and file Form 941, 940, W-2, and other payroll tax forms
Manage quarterly payroll tax reporting and compliance requirements
Handle amended payroll filings and corrections
Review payroll records for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations
Payroll Issue Resolution
Respond to and resolve IRS payroll notices and payroll-related letters
Research discrepancies in payroll tax filings and resolve compliance issues
Coordinate corrections and adjustments when errors occur
Regulatory & Agency Communication
Communicate with government agencies such as the IRS and state workforce commissions
Handle unemployment tax issues, payroll tax inquiries, and regulatory correspondence
Manage documentation and compliance responses for payroll-related audits or notices
Multi-State Payroll Management
Process and review payroll across multiple U.S. states
