Senior Consultant, Wills and Trusts Resource Group

As a member of the Wills and Trusts Resource Group (WTRG), the Senior Consultant will be part of the centre of technical and legal expertise on fiduciary matters for Canadian Wealth Management businesses. The role will primarily involve legal support, analysis and recommendations to RBC Canadian Wealth Management businesses on estate, trust and power of attorney account administration and maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, analyze and provide guidance on estate, trust and power of attorney issues escalated by the Canadian Wealth Management businesses and functional groups using knowledge of relevant jurisdictional laws and principles and prioritize escalation of estate and trust account issues based on urgency of issue to provide timely recommendations.
