Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes, and develop sustainable, repeatable,
and quantifiable process improvements.
Research best practices inside and outside the organization and establish benchmark data.
Collect and analyze process data, and plan, develop, and propose business practices and procedures focused
on safety, productivity, and cost reduction.
Determine how new information technology can support business process reengineering.
May specialize in benchmarking, business process analysis/reengineering, change management and
measurement, process-driven system requirements, Six Sigma, or Lean management principles.
