Senior Controls & Automation Engineer (Medellín)

Overview

At Hatch Medellín, we’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Controls & Automation Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) team.

Responsibilities / About the Role

• Schedule, coordinate and participate in S&P C; design reviews.
• Provide input for project cost estimates, schedules, and progress reporting.
• Prepare all technical documentation required for project execution.
• Develop data sheets, instrument indexes, and perform instrument sizing in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Perform sizing calculations for flow meters and control valves.
• Develop instrument Material Requisition (MR) packages, perform bid evaluations, and select instruments.
• Design instrument installation details.
• Provide input to the 3D model and participate in model reviews.
• Develop control philosophies and control narratives.
• Generate shutdown keys and cause and effects.
