Senior Controls Engineer – Manufacturing Automation Projects

We're launching a series of manufacturing plant automation upgrades and are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer who can take full ownership of projects from initial I/O definition through customer handover.
This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable designing, programming, commissioning, and supporting complete PLC, SCADA, and HMI architectures in live production environments.
You'll lead technical execution, manage coordination across vendors and plant teams, and ensure each system is delivered production-ready.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Conduct project scope reviews with plant operators and maintenance teams
Design and program PLC logic, SCADA dashboards, and HMI interfaces
Lead systems through FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning
Coordinate panel builders, electricians, and specialty subcontractors
Manage project timelines and budget tracking
Drive QA/QC for drawings, software revisions, and turnover documentation
