Key responsibilities
Edit, rewrite, fact check stories filed by reporters
Give catchy, newsy headlines and plan visual elements for stories
Curate stories and packages on trending topics
Coordinate with reporters, designers and other editorial teams
Work within tight deadlines

Experience
2+ years in Editorial/Desk team of a reputed English newspaper or magazine
Proficiency in InDesign and/or QuarkXPress
Excellent language skills, attention to detail and a sharp news sense in both the soft and hard news space (especially at the overlap of the two) are non-negotiable.
