Senior Counsel - Shipping

My client is a leading and growing Shipping Firm and we are recruiting for a Head of Legal to be based in the Singapore office.

• Provide end-to-end legal support across shipping operations, commodity trading, and associated financing structures
• Act as a key advisor on complex trading disputes, including arbitration and litigation strategy in collaboration with external counsel where required
• Lead on transactional matters, including investments, divestments, and strategic partnerships
• Advise on shipping law, charterparty agreements, and regulatory considerations.
• Support financing arrangements, including structured trade finance, project financing, and banking documentation
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders (commercial, trading, finance) to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal guidance
