Senior credit manager: evaluation

Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Credit Manager based in Sandton.

Requirements CA or BCom postgraduate qualification. MBA would be advantageous. 8 to 10 years’ experience in a financial institution.
Knowledge and understanding of credit and investment risks in the financing of transactions or projects. Portfolio management experience would be advantageous. Responsibilities Perform risk gradings of Business Partners through an application of in-house credit risk tools and models and give constructive view on the output. Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures as well as team alignment to the Credit Risk Appetite Strategy. Responsible for the final sign-off of all risk ratings within the company, including accountability for a consistent rating approach for all entities and approval of overrides.
