Senior Custom PCell & Layout Automation Engineer

**CTG is seeking a Senior Custom PCell & Layout Automation Engineer to join our client’s team.**

**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 10 months

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Design, implement, and maintain parameterized cells (PCell/pyCell) for devices, primitives, and layout generators.
+ Ensure geometry correctness, parameter validation, DRC/LVS compliance, and proper pin/label conventions.
+ Develop and test PCells in **Cadence Virtuoso (SKILL/SKILL++)** and **Synopsys Custom Compiler (PyCell/Python; OA APIs)** .
+ Support physical verification readiness with **Cadence PVS** or **Synopsys ICV** , coordinating with teams using **Siemens Calibre** when needed.
+ Validate extraction views (Cadence Quantus / Synopsys StarRC) and maintain netlisting/simulation consistency.
+ Build unit/functional tests, regression suites, and golden reference layouts.
