Senior customs controller

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Senior Customs Controller to oversee all activities related to SARS Customs, Transnet, and other relevant government agencies. The successful candidate will ensure that customs protocols are followed and compliant with regulations. This role requires managing all documentation, tariff classifications, and customs-related processes to ensure efficient and accurate import/export operations.

Top Responsibilities Customs & Compliance Management Ensure adherence to customs protocols and compliance with SARS, Transnet, and other government agency regulations. Monitor tariff classifications and customs duties for import/export shipments. Stay updated on the NCAP (New Customs Act Programmed) and implement changes effectively. Documentation & Reporting Review and ensure accuracy of all customs-related documentation, including EDI submissions to SARS.
