Senior Data Engineer

Techruiters are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer
for one of our clients in Pakistan. This role will focus on taking over and further developing an existing analytical database, ETL pipelines, and reporting infrastructure currently being built by external freelancers. As the first hire, you will
own the data domain
within the company and lay the foundation for future growth of the Data Team.

Location:
Remote (Pakistan only)

Salary:
up to $2500 (tax free)

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Aurora MySQL, AWS Firehose, S3, and Python.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with at least one data visualization or BI tool.
• Ability to work independently as the first Data Engineer and take full ownership of the data landscape.
• Must be fluent in English
