Job Description
- Manage and oversee all enterprise backup and recovery operations across the organization.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Veeam, ExaGrid, Data Domain, and NetWorker backup environments.
- Monitor backup job performance, storage capacity, deduplication efficiency, and system health.
- Perform data restore operations for servers, applications, databases, and virtual machines as required.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes.
- Lead data recovery efforts during incidents, including ransomware or critical data‑loss events.
- Maintain and update disaster recovery plans to ensure RTO and RPO objectives are met.
- Conduct regular disaster recovery tests and document results for compliance and improvement.
- Ensure backup systems adhere to security, retention, and regulatory requirements.
