A leading FinTech company in consumer credit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact initiatives at the intersection of credit risk modeling and generative AI. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge machine learning solutions using both structured and unstructured data. You’ll also play a key role in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production systems — delivering insights, optimizing risk models, and driving product innovation.


Location: New York, NY or Washington, DC (3x/week)


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy predictive models for credit and risk analysis
  • Apply and adapt LLMs to extract insights from text and enhance decision-making
  • Own model monitoring, explainability, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate across teams to bring ML models into scalable production pipelines
