As a Senior Sybase ASE/IQ Database Administrator, you will be a part of a growing international team based in Kuala Lumpur Center. We are seeking candidates with a wide range of expertise and skills in Sybase ASE and IQ database support such as day‑to‑day administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore and SQL programming know‑how. You will mentor other database administrators and share your expertise within a large database team.

Key Activities

• Database Administration support with main focus on Sybase ASE and IQ databases.
• Database Maintenance, housekeeping, troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues, including tuning SQL queries, optimizing indexing, and implementing necessary database changes.
