Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Design Engineer – Bristol – GBP55,000 + Hybrid + Bonus + EAP + DIS

Salary: GBP55,000 starting salary; bonus scheme; EAP; enhanced pension.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of design projects from concept to completion, using SolidWorks.
• Produce parts lists, assembly drawings and detail drawings.
• Be aware of cost targets in design, purchasing, and assembly.
• Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience within Mechanical design.
• Strong user of SolidWorks – with sheet metal design experience being an advantage
• Read and produce 2d production drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
