Senior Director of Tax

Job Description
The Senior Director of Tax serves as the Company’s lead tax expert and advisor overseeing income tax, sales and use tax and escheatment functions including emerging issues, research, compliance and audits. As a private equity portfolio company, the Senior Director of Tax will need to manage the tax function and the necessary internal processes/controls, assist with Company initiatives, and implement the Company’s tax strategies. He or she will maintain GAAP accounting / SOX compliance and is responsible for the proper financial statement presentation. The Senior Director of Tax will need to work closely with internal business partners, owners and must work effectively with external tax partners. The position requires excellent technical skills in both tax and accounting. The candidate must be able to communicate technical tax concepts to senior management and possess strong organizational skills to properly lead the tax function.
