Senior Drainage Design Engineer

Role Purpose

Leads the design, analysis, and modelling of drainage and flood management systems for infrastructure and land development projects. Ensures hydraulic performance, flood mitigation, and regulatory compliance using advanced modelling tools and engineering standards.

Core Technical Competencies

1. Drainage & Stormwater Design Expertise

Demonstrates strong capability in designing stormwater and drainage systems for urban, transport, and infrastructure projects.

Behavioral Indicators:

• Designs open and closed drainage networks, culverts, channels, and stormwater systems.
• Performs hydraulic sizing, capacity checks, and flow routing.
• Develops drainage layouts aligned with terrain and infrastructure geometry.
• Designs flood mitigation, detention, and diversion systems.
• Ensures constructability, safety, and long-term drainage performance.
