Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

About the role:

Mott MacDonald is currently looking for a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer for its Land Development team in Abu Dhabi, to support with the technical delivery of multiple master‑planning/land development projects across the Emirate.

Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare utility designs and calculations in line with relevant authority standards and project requirements.
• Develop electrical load calculations and schedules, including (as applicable) load schedules, LV schedules, voltage drop, cable de‑rating and related design documentation.
• Design HV/MV/LV networks, including single line diagrams and infrastructure layouts.
• Design street lighting networks (including tunnels/underpasses), producing layouts, single line diagrams, voltage drop calculations and lux studies (e.g., using DiaLux).
