Overview

Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) | Location: Essex (Hybrid Working). Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of electrical building services (power, lighting, fire alarms, data/communications, security systems, etc.).
• Manage projects from concept design through to detailed design and delivery.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Attend and lead client meetings, offering technical guidance and solutions.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant UK standards and regulations (BS7671, CIBSE, Building Regulations, etc.).
• Contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies.
