Senior Electrical Engineer (BESS)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions for industrial and commercial facilities. The role focuses on peak shaving, load shifting, and data-driven energy cost reduction , leveraging high-frequency energy data to develop customized solutions for each client.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze high-resolution energy data (V, A, kW, kWh, PF, Hz) to identify peak demand patterns, load shifting opportunities, and inefficiencies in energy usage.
• Design BESS systems for peak shaving and load shifting applications .
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and utility interconnection requirements.
• Work with vendors and contractors on equipment sizing and site installation.
• Utilize energy monitoring platforms to track system performance and validate savings.
• Support proposal development.
