Senior Electrical Engineer - Heritage Buildings

Join the iconic Centre Block Rehabilitation Project in Ottawa, modernizing and future‑proofing this national heritage building. This position can also support the project from WSP’s Toronto office.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in developing advanced engineering solutions for electrical and electronic building systems, including:
  • Low voltage power distribution (including emergency power and UPS)
  • Lightning protection and grounding
  • Fire detection and voice alarm
  • Public address systems
  • Passive telecommunications and security infrastructure
  • Lighting and lighting controls systems
  • External underground services infrastructure
• Develop technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trade contractors to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.
