Senior Electrical Engineer - Heritage Buildings

Opportunity Join the iconic Centre Block Rehabilitation Project in Ottawa, modernizing and future‑proofing this national heritage building. This position can also support the project from WSP’s Toronto office.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in developing advanced engineering solutions for electrical and electronic building systems, including:

Low voltage power distribution (including emergency power and UPS)

Lightning protection and grounding

Fire detection and voice alarm

Public address systems

Passive telecommunications and security infrastructure

Lighting and lighting controls systems

External underground services infrastructure

Develop technical drawings and specifications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trade contractors to deliver integrated, constructible solutions.

Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
