Senior Electronics Engineer (Freelance Project – 6 Months)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the end-to-end development of a low-power, battery-operated industrial RF module. This confidential project, conducted under NDA, requires a professional with strong autonomy, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and the end customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Full hardware design: schematics, PCB layout, fabrication files (preferably Altium Designer).
• Low-power system architecture, preferably using 3.6 V lithium AA batteries for operation.
• RF communication integration ensuring compatibility with ISO 15693.
• Careful HF antenna design (13.56 MHz), including theoretical tuning and impedance considerations. Practical tuning using RF equipment (e.g., VNA) is considered a plus but not mandatory. The antenna must achieve reliable communication in industrial conditions.
