Senior Engineer / Engineer, Bio-medical Engineering

Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Commissioning of incoming simple biomedical equipment
• Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in equipment by making adjustments, alterations, repairs or parts replacements
• Assisting supervisor in coordinating all service and repair activities of his section including setting work priority for Staff, assigning work and monitoring work accuracy, completeness and safety
• Assisting supervisor in the oversight on equipment service contracts ensuring contractors fulfil their contractual obligations
• Developing tender specifications for equipment, participating in pre-purchase tender and/or equipment evaluation and advising hospital on selection of suitable equipment
• Communicating with users on service activities affecting them including scheduled maintenance, repairs, commissioning, user training and user satisfaction feedback
• Ad-hoc projects as assigned
