Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Process Development and Optimization
Develop, document, and implement manufacturing processes for laser modules, optical assemblies, and related sub-systems.
Define critical process parameters for optical alignment, bonding, soldering, and laser cavity assembly.
Conduct DOE (Design of Experiments) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to optimize yield and minimize process variability.
Translate R&D prototypes into robust, repeatable production processes.
Production Support
Provide hands-on technical support to production teams for troubleshooting yield issues, process deviations, and equipment downtime.
Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions for production failures (using tools like DMAIC, FMEA, Ishikawa).
Support daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and performance targets (throughput, yield, quality).
