Senior Engineer, Reliability Requirements & Market Support

Description

Reporting to the Manager, Reliability Requirements & Market Support, we are looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in the generation domain. You will draw on your generation design and operations experience to guide generator related initiatives including impacts to grid reliability and system performance, influence internal and external stakeholders, and evaluate generator capabilities including qualifying resources for ancillary services. 

You will apply expertise in power generation and high voltage transmission facilities – especially in generator and facility control systems such as frequency regulation systems and voltage control systems, and testing and validation of generator performance. You have a solid working knowledge of power generation technologies and transmission system performance.
