Senior Engineer

Working alongside inspectors and equipment engineers, you will facilitate inspection of the structural integrity of container handling cranes.  You will also be involved in reviewing steel structure designs for compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Areas of interest will include finite-element analysis of structures, failure analysis of components and crane design evaluations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Candidates with experience/knowledge in the following areas will be considered favorably:
  • Steel structure design to standards such as EN or BS standards
  • finite element analysis (FEA/FEM)
