Senior Engineer - Supplier Quality (On-Site Support)

The role is responsible for managing plant-quality concerns, driving supplier-related issue resolution, supporting NPI builds, and ensuring uninterrupted production by executing effective containment, corrective actions, and preventive mechanisms. Key Responsibilities: NCR Management & Problem Resolution: Address and troubleshoot plant quality issues, including implementing immediate fixes. Plan and execute containment actions to prevent production disruptions. Follow up with suppliers for NCR acceptance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Lead closure of plant quality issues to avoid line stoppages. Coordinate with SQD during NPD/NPI trials and communicate trial results. Work with cross-functional teams (CFT) for deviation approvals. Visit supplier locations to validate corrective actions as required. Coordinate and execute rework at the plant site. Provide performance feedback for NPI parts as per the safe launch plan.
