Senior Engineer Test Hardware Probe Technology

Power IC and Power Discrete testing is getting increasingly challenging regarding maximum allowed current ratings of probes and high‑voltage requirements.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Collect and specify test requirements from Infineon’s internal customers (product lines) and execute power probing technology qualification procedures together with wafer test operations at own and external test sites
• Define, run and document evaluations on existing lab test benches to determine probe wear‑out rates, high current/voltage capabilities, and contact resistance stability for Infineon’s power technologies (e.g. SiC, GaN, IGBT, SFET, SPT)
• Communicate and cooperate with probe card suppliers to develop and to introduce new advanced technologies for high volume wafer tests.
• Contribute to quarterly review of Power & Sensor probing roadmap based on Infineon’s test and wafer technology requirements.
